This place feels very authentic. It's sort of a "self service" type of restaurant, you have to take your order, place it, pay and then pick it ... Ah, and clean the table after yourself The taste of the food was very good, ramen tasted good, so did the fish and everything we ordered.

Such a beautifully authentic Japanese place. I haven't had such soul nourishing food in a long time. Most of our table didn't bother talking for awhile since we were too busy slurping up warm noodles and devouring the utterly amazing gyoza with the chili dip. Can't wait to come back here with a bigger group to try more of the menu. Not to mention the kind gentleman at the cash register or the sweet older lady calling out ticket numbers and playing our food.

This is BY FAR the best Japanese food I've been to in all of the US! It was the most authentic, like I was back in Japan eating in a hole in a wall type place, with food made by a little obaachan. There's a TV, playing Japanese game shows and the food is all depicted in picture form (all it's missing is the 3D fake food!) I got chicken nanban, but my driving force was to get the beautiful and tasty potato croquette! And when I tell you it was heavenly, I mean it brought me back to the little croquette shop in the train station, moments of eating Komeda Coffee's croquette sandwiches, or when I had a cream corn croquette at YakiNiku King! The crunch was perfection, the inside was soft. And the chicken nanban too!!! I fell in love with that dish when I visited Kyushu, and again this taste brought me right back home. I can't wait to go again and try something "new." Also the yuzu cheesecake was divine! Very citrusy and it had the little plastic wrap on it, like in Japan! And the cashier lady had an apron on, just like the style in Japan, and she smiled and talked with me. It was a piece of home. Thank you!

i really like the vibe of this place!! you write down what you want on a ticket after looking at the options when you enter and bring it up to the front and they make it all fresh! the food was pretty good, the ramen wasn’t the best though. the meat and veggies were pretty firm, but it wasn’t bad by any means and was a nice lunch!

Tried Nagomi Japanese Restaurant for the first time and it was a nice experience! Since it was my first visit, it felt a little confusing to choose from the menu, especially because some vegetarian dishes were unavailable. But the dish I ordered turned out to be so good! The noodles were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and loaded with fresh vegetables. The taste was really satisfying and comforting. Overall, I truly enjoyed the food and would love to visit again to try more options. Definitely recommended if you want to explore Japanese cuisine

Our friend invited us out to this restaurant for a group lunch date, and we'll definitely be back! The style of the restaurant is basic, but easy to navigate, order and its convenient. There is a large amount of seating, with a variety of tables and booths, so it was easy to accommodate our large group as a walk in. To order, there are slips of paper for each item, you select the amount, any add ons or substitutions, and if its to go or dine in. Prices are clearly labeled and accurate pictures are provided. Once you pay at the counter, theyll give you a receipt and a number. When your number is called, go back to the service window where they hand out the food. They serve the food as its ready, so if you if order multiple items, it might not all come out at the same time. The food portions are huge and definitely worth the price! I ended up with leftovers. The takeout containers you grab on your own, which I found more convenient. And since everything is made fresh, it came out pipping hot. The fried mackerel was crunchy and you can tell it was cooked with clean oil, no lingering taste of anything else. The taiyaki was soft and sweet. The takoyaki was delicious, one of the best I've had, and it was great topped with tempura crunch. The broth in the pork tonkotsu wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be, but there were plenty of toppings and the pork was amazingly tender. It was my first time having fried burdock, and it was tasty! Be sure to clean up and bus your own trays and table

Have know about this place for years and I finely made it here. This place has all the old school feels on an authentic Japanese ramen shop, which it is and it's perfect. Everything I had was cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely amazing. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by

Nagomi is a great Japanese diner. Like many spots in Japan, you take tickets up to the counter to order. It’s somewhat cafeteria like, but the food is good quality. The flavors reminded me very much of my time in Japan. I got a decent amount of food, and prices aren’t too bad. The potato croquette was excellent with some sauce, and the ginger pork dinner set was delicious. The pork had lots of ginger and onion flavor, and the side dishes were varied and tasty. Finally, the mitarashi dango made a nice dessert. I’d definitely go here again, and it’s a wonderfully authentic Japanese restaurant.
